Think of Miami and what’s the first thing that comes to mind? Its vibrant nightlife, perhaps? Or how about the iconic marinas and beaches from which the rest of the city looks out?
A new private members club is bringing both of these together, opening an exclusive space reminiscent of a lavish superyacht. Located on the banks of the Miami River, Seaspice Brasserie and Lounge has announced the opening of Air, a private club and event space.

In the hopes of shaping a savvy community of globally minded individuals, membership will be invite only – those lucky enough to receive such an invitation will join the likes of David Beckham, Jeff Bezos, and Leonardo DiCaprio who have been spotted previously at SeaSpice. Air will welcome this exclusive crowd to embark on what it describes as a voyage of refined revelry, complete with world-class entertainment, fine dining and a dynamic social atmosphere.
Entering – or should we say embarking – Air, it’s very quickly clear that the waters not only inspire the space’s interior, but it is also where Air calls home. On this point of the Miami River, it is as close to the waterfront as you can get while remaining dry. The sliding doors that line the event space offer 180-degree views of Miami’s harbor and have you feeling like you’re bobbing on the water.

The nautical design influences are hard to ignore, from the teak-beam-lined hall, chrome porthole windows to the yellow submarine-inspired DJ booth. In the daytime, the open-air interior is drenched in the famous Miami sun. At night, orange-hued lighting creates an alluring ambiance while the ocean-colored cushioned booths provide an inviting sense of intimacy.
Members will have access to exclusive events and entertainment, as well as Air’s exquisite dining options, including premium caviars, signature makis and nigiri, koji cured salmon, bluefin tuna and wagyu steak tartare, all served alongside its premium champagnes, fine wines and elevated cocktails.
