The Restaurant
Located on the tenth floor of the iconic Shiseido building in Ginza, Tokyo, FARO presents a refined Italian dining experience that embraces both Japanese ingredients and culinary artistry. Since its reopening in late 2018, executive chef Kotaro Noda helms the kitchen, blending the precision of Japanese kaiseki with the soulfulness of Italian cuisine. The restaurant currently holds one Michelin star. FARO emphasizes a connection to the earth, reflected in dishes crafted with respect for nature. The restaurant's commitment extends to vegan offerings, viewing it as a lifestyle of the future. The dining room features cool-colored interiors bathed in natural light, creating an upmarket yet relaxed atmosphere. Noda and his team handpick ingredients, visiting local farmers who share their passion for natural farming.
