The Restaurant
Located in Pocantico Hills New York, Blue Hill at Stone Barns provides a unique dining experience, emphasizing local ingredients sourced directly from the Stone Barns Center for Food & Agriculture. The restaurant, co-owned by Dan, David, and Laureen Barber, is housed in a repurposed cow barn on the Rockefeller estate. Blue Hill at Stone Barns currently holds two Michelin stars, awarded in 2019 when the Michelin Guide expanded to include Westchester County. Chef Dan Barber's passion drives the restaurant's mission, connecting his vision for improving food systems with the land's bounty. The experience features dramatically presented, farm-fresh seasonal produce. While the focus is plant-based, heartier compositions may include roasted meats. Note that Blue Hill at Stone Barns is temporarily closed due to a fire that broke out in January 2025.
