The Restaurant

Myojaku, discreetly located off Roppongi-dori in Nishi-Azabu, offers a refined Japanese dining experience. Architect Tetsu Kijima designed the minimalist space, creating an elegant backdrop for chef Hidetoshi Nakamura's cuisine. Nakamura, who honed his skills in Kyoto, opened Myojaku in 2022. The restaurant earned two Michelin stars shortly after opening, a testament to Nakamura's skill and the restaurant's dedication to harmony, subtlety, and clarity. Nakamura focuses on highlighting the essence of each ingredient, sometimes using only water and salt to draw out the purest flavors. He meticulously selects seasonal vegetables and other ingredients from across Japan. The tasting menu reflects this dedication, presenting dishes that capture the bounty of the land and sea. The eight-seater counter and private rooms provide intimate settings for experiencing Nakamura's thoughtful cuisine.
