With a diverse portfolio of ultra-luxe properties around the world, Auberge Resorts Collection has always been a go-to for unforgettable vacations. Now, the brand is elevating its offering even further with the launch of Taste of Auberge, a new series of enticing culinary pop-ups, experiences and chef residencies.
Taking place throughout 2022 at 15 of Auberge’s opulent resorts, each event in the Taste of Auberge series will be a collaboration between the resort’s own executive chef and internationally renowned chefs from some of the world’s leading restaurants, with a focus on the local cuisine of each hotel.
Highlights from the epicurean lineup include Nami Nori at Mauna Lani, which sees cult NYC Japanese restaurant Nami Nori head to Hawaii for a two-week pop-up from February 11-24. The event will see Mauni Lani’s executive chef Matt Raso reimagine the winning Nami Nori menu to create a nightly Temaki dinner using local and seasonal Hawaiian produce. Some evenings will also see Nami Nori’s head chef Taka Sakaeda take over to host immersive cookery classes.

Over in Los Cabos, Chileno Bay Resort & Residences will be hosting standout Latin American and Mexican chefs, including Virgilio Martínez of the world-renowned Central in Peru and Daniela Soto-Innes, who was awarded James Beard’s Rising Star accolade in 2016. New chefs will host pop-ups each month, with each putting their own twist on heritage Baja ingredients. Exclusive dinners will be hosted in Chileno Bay’s signature Comal restaurant, with a lucky few also able to arrange in-villa private dining.
Other standouts in the Taste of Auberge calendar include Ryan Hardy of New York’s Charlie Bird taking over the kitchen at the White Barn Inn from April 22-24; Costa Rica’s brand-new Hacienda AltaGracia offering a soulful expression of Costa Rican and Argentine culinary traditions, with a focus on eating close to nature; and legendary barbeque chef Elizabeth Karmel heading to the Blue Ridge Mountains in March for a long weekend of fireside cooking at Primland, Auberge Resorts Collections.
As well as foodie-focused events, Taste of Auberge will also offer a series of wine and cocktail centered experiences, including Favia Wines at Jerome on February 11, which will see Napa Valley winemaking power couple Andy Erickson and Annie Favia-Erickson hand-select a series of specialty wines to accompany a six-course tasting menu.
