The Food
The dishes served at Juniper Lounge and Garden are set to play an important role in visitors’ experience of the new space. The menu features an entirely new set of bites to try which utilize ingredients from the hotel’s on-site 100% organic garden.
Diners will be enjoying stuffed California dates with locally smoked bacon and goat’s cheese, or a kimchi salad with grilled corn, haricot vert, cherry tomatoes, celery hearts, baby gems, and Gomasio.
Meat eaters fear not, there’s a bone marrow burger on a sesame-potato roll with sumac pickled onion, marinated tomato, harissa sauce and sweet potato wedges, or try the smoked lamb ribs with Medjool date BBQ sauce.
The Drinks
Not wanting to be overshadowed by the impressive food, the beverage menu at Juniper Lounge and Garden features a mixture of cocktails and zero-proof serves in addition to an array of approachable spirits, local craft beers and biodynamic wine from both California and the Mediterranean, sticking close to the 1 Hotel West Hollywood’s sustainable ethos.
On the cocktail list, you could sample the LA Woman featuring loft & bear rum, passionfruit, mango, hibiscus, yuzu and sparkling Sicilian lemonade, or go for the Sustainable Sandia which uses Cincoro Blanco tequila, ancho reyes, watermelon agua fresca, lime and tajin.
Those staying away from alcohol should try the Smokey Pina Margarita, which uses Optimist Smokey, a non-alcoholic tequila, with serrano, pineapple, and lime.
