The fashion house has centered its takeover around the vibrant Carretto Siciliano style and has totally remastered the entire poolside area. As the hotel houses the largest saltwater pool in Europe, there was a lot of space to work with.

Bold blues, lively oranges and deep reds are arranged in ornate patterns and splashed across everything, from drapes to dresses and sunbeds to surfboards. Towels and beach balls are marked with Dolce & Gabbana’s signature style, alongside hand-painted plant pots and decorative cushions.

The prints’ origins are deeply rooted in Italy’s cultural history and reflect the values of ‘fatto a mano’, Italian for the handmade. As a result, not only is the DG Resort a unique tourist destination but it is also a celebration of local artistic heritage.

Hotel Cala di Volpe, a Luxury Collection Hotel was designed in the 1960s by French architect Jacques Couëlle, who was inspired by old fishing villages. However, it underwent a modern redesign by architects Bruno Moinard and Claire Bétaille. It’s no wonder that Dolce & Gabbana selected this hotel for its resort takeover, as it exudes elegance in a relaxed beach setting.
