Foodies take note. The hotly anticipated Festival des Etoilés Monte-Carlo is back for its third edition with an incredible line-up of Michelin-starred chefs stepping up to the plate to host a series of four-hands dinners.
Running from 29 September to 11 November, the gourmet foodie event will take place at Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer’s decorated restaurants including Le Blue Bay at the Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort; Le Grill and Le Louis XV Alain Ducasse at the Hotel de Paris; and Payvyllon Monte-Carlo at Hôtel Hermitage.
Standout events include a collaboration between Marcel Ravin (head chef at the Michelin-starred Le Blue Bay Monaco) and three-Michelin-starred Julien Royer (chef-owner of Odette in Singapore) on September 29 and 30. The culinary talents have come together to craft a unique four-hand dinner inspired by their grandmothers and Monaco’s bounty of seasonal produce.
Other culinary talents coming together for the foodie festival include Dominique Lory (executive chef at L ‘Hôtel de Paris) with British chef Jason Atherton; Emmanuel Pilon with Amaury Bouhours (overseen by their mentor, Ducasse); and Yannick Alléno (the multi-Michelin starred chef behind Pavyllon) with Sven Wassmer (of the three-Michelin star Memories).
Each pair of chefs have pooled their talent to craft a series of one-off menus to be enjoyed by a select handful of lucky guests. As you would expect, the unforgettable meals have been expertly paired with the finest wines and champagnes.
The Festival des Etoilés Monte-Carlo will draw to a close with a black-tie gala evening at the Salle Empire of Hotel de Paris Monte-Carlo on 11 November, with world-renowned chefs Alain Ducasse, Yannick Alléno, Dominique Lory and Marcel Ravin hosting live cooking demonstrations and one-night-only tasting menu.
The Festival des Etoiles Monte-Carlo black-tie gala evening will take place on November 11 at Salle Empire Monte Carlo. Tickets cost €850 per person.
