With the likes of Claridge’s, The Berkeley and The Connaught under its umbrella, The Maybourne Hotel Group is no stranger to London’s glamorous hotel scene. Now, the group has announced the newest property to join its portfolio: The Emory.
Slated to open late this year, The Emory will be suite-only with a total of 60 spacious, light-filled accommodations spread across nine floors, including a show-stopping penthouse. Moving away from the more traditional feel of its sister hotels, The Emory will have a more contemporary feel, with each floor imagined by a different interior designer.
Big names on the interiors side of the project include Alexandra Champalimaud, André Fu, Pierre Yves Rochon, Rémi Tessier and Patricia Urquiola, while the architecture of the glass-heavy building was imagined by the late Richard Rogers and Ivan Harbour of architectural firm RSHP.

Intended to be a slice of private luxury in the heart of one of the world’s most thriving metropolises, The Emory will boast a discrete entrance on an unassuming road in London’s Knightsbridge neighborhood.
Its amenities will offer the height of discretion, too: The rooftop terrace, which will feature 360-degree views across the city skyline, will be open solely to hotel guests.

The Emory’s culinary offering will come courtesy of famed chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, who will be bringing his beloved NYC restaurant ABC to London. Categorized by its focus on local and seasonal cuisine, this will be ABC’s first UK outpost.

Spa facilities are set to be world-class, too, with a four-story wellness space hiding below ground.
