The Ritz-Carlton group has announced a third addition to its celebrated collection of superyachts, with Luminara’s maiden voyage slated for summer 2025.
Measuring in at 794 ft, Luminara will proudly take the title of being the largest yacht in Ritz Carlton’s fleet – which also includes the 790-ft Ilma and Evrima, which spans 624 ft. The new vessel will accommodate 452 guests, with 226 entry-level suites (each with its own terrace) as well as an assortment of larger signature suites. Among this upper class of accommodations will be a top-key Residential Suite.
The yacht’s refined interiors are imagined by Toronto-based Chapi Chapo Design and London architecture firm, AD Associates. Together, they have created a yacht that envelops both contemporary design and classic sea-faring elegance. A sumptuous palette of red, navy and green, combined with an abundance of top materials including brown oak wood, Calcutta marble and leather add to the effect.

Exteriors have been designed by Helsinki-based studio Aivan, which has drawn up a sleek build reminiscent of private yachts.
Like the first two ships in the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, Luminara’s onboard amenities will be plentiful and will include world-class dining destinations, a Ritz-Carlton spa, an extensive wine program and an expanded marina. A host of onshore experiences will also be available, including local expert-led tours, helicopter rides and kayaking trips.
Among Luminara’s first sailings are round trips around Italy and Spain, with stops at some of Europe’s most celebrated landmarks including Sicily’s ancient amphitheaters and the sights of Barcelona.

“This growth embodies our unwavering dedication to exploration, enrichment, and the pursuit of extraordinary experiences for our guests. Luminara is an invitation to embark on remarkable journeys and discover the world’s most captivating destinations with unparalleled amenities and service.”
With the launch of its third yacht, Ritz-Carlton has also announced its wider 2025 yacht expeditions aboard Evrima and Ilma. A total of 53 itineraries are now bookable including all new voyages through the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, calling at Copenhagen, Stockholm and Reykjavík, as well as trips to Greece, the Iberian Peninsula and France.
