The world is filled with great hotel room views and panoramas, factors that could make or break a holiday room experience. Imagine waking up and seeing the Eiffel Tower outside your window, or the Taj Mahal in India.

Elite Traveler has found the perfect bucket-list spots to enjoy a luxurious hotel experience while admiring some of the best views in the world, from cityscapes to remote mountain landscapes.

Oberoi Amarvilas, Agra, India

To be this close to the Taj Mahal would be a dream come true for many. This Unesco World Heritage site has captivated people for centuries; its magical pull pervades the atmosphere of Oberoi Amarvilas, certainly one of India’s best hotels.

In the Kohinoor Suite, the Taj Mahal can be seen through the view from the hotel room, even from bed, as well as from its three private terraces. The study even has a telescope so you can admire the details of the incredible Mughal monument and gardens. For the ultimate romantic evening, enjoy an alfresco dinner on your terrace with views of this enduring symbol of love in the distance.

The Corinthia, London, England

Near London’s Westminster neighborhood, the Corinthia is lavish with its glass-domed lobby, grand floral displays and glittering chandeliers. The two-story Royal Penthouse Suite has views from its 680-sq-ft terrace of landmarks of the London skyline: the London Eye, Big Ben, Nelson’s Column, St Paul’s and the Thames.

Inside, the two floors connect via a private elevator and a swirling staircase. On the lower floor, there’s a large living room, dining room for 10, office and butler’s kitchen. The upper floor of the Corinthia has a huge master bedroom with walk-in closet and master bath with spa suite, a TV lounge, 75-sq-ft balcony, terrace and a second bedroom with walk-in closet.

You have your own spa, but do visit the ESPA Spa. It’s the best in the city: four subterranean floors of slick black marble, dancing fireplaces and an excellent treatment menu.

Four Seasons Hotel, Sydney, Australia

The Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney could not be better located, not just to enjoy stunning views of the Iconic Sydney Harbour and the Opera House but also culturally. The hotel is located right next to The Rocks and Circular Quay, allowing guests to enjoy a vibrant social scene and fantastic shopping within walking distance of its room.

The Two-bedroom President Suite offers an amplified version of this experience. The oversized suite offers views of Sydney Harbour from every room. Soak in views of the sunset from floor-to-ceiling windows as you dine in an elegant private dining room.

Jade Mountain, St. Lucia

Where most Caribbean suites are perfectly content with a view over the beach, the Galaxy Suites at Jade Mountain in St Lucia aspire to something far more dramatic – a 120-degree view that starts from the Caribbean Sea on one side and carries on sweeping up to the vast twin peaks of the Piton Mountains on the other.

Better still, this can all be viewed from your bed because these suites have no fourth wall (although jalousie screens can be pulled into position over the opening if desired).

The suites feature calming interiors within its striking architectural envelope, plus hydromassage baths to unwind after a day exploring.
